Once the scope has been defined, we select genuine opportunities, not just advertisements. We verify documents, the vessel’s history, its technical condition, previous work carried out and any potential issues, including through in-depth surveys and sea trials where necessary. The aim is to eliminate uncertainties, turning every choice into a well-informed decision, backed by concrete data and evidence.

SELECTION AND NEGOTIATION

This process results in a carefully considered shortlist, comprising just a few options – all of which are sound – presented with clear pros and cons, cost scenarios and future prospects. We won’t leave you to your own devices at this crucial stage: we’ll support you throughout the negotiations, the final checks, and your dealings with sellers, shipyards, marinas and other parties involved. Every step is managed to protect your interests and bring the deal to the best possible conclusion, at the right time.

LONG-TERM PROTECTION

For us, the relationship doesn’t end when the contract is signed: that’s when it really begins. We stay on board with you, so to speak, supporting you with maintenance planning, managing refits and customisations, organising relocations and transport, and finding or changing moorings. We also guide you through future developments in your yacht fleet, ensuring that every new decision is the natural next step in a carefully planned journey.

With over 40 years’ experience and a life spent on dinghies and at sea, I have turned my passion into a profession. From my first Atlantic crossing in 1981 to regattas in the Mediterranean, I now work as a yacht broker and marine surveyor. I put my technical expertise in sailing and motorboats at the service of boat owners, managing refits and sales with integrity and rigour. I speak Italian and English, ensuring professionalism and attention to detail in every transaction.

I grew up on boats, spending years on the docks of a harbor and gaining hands-on experience at a shipyard. This background has allowed me to understand and experience the maritime world in a practical and hands-on way. After years of working directly with shipowners and captains, I decided to partner with a professional broker with over forty years of experience in the industry. Today, we offer a brokerage service tailored to each client’s specific needs.
